In many workshops there comes a moment, a tipping point - emotional, intellectual, ideological - where a wave of energy sweeps like wildfire through the participants, inspiring them to speak with raw honesty, to listen to different points of view, and ask those important questions - "What can I do and what can we do to change the situation?" These are the successful workshops; those exciting, transformative moments are what every educator, artist dreams of creating! But how? What factors go towards making this happen? In this session participants will explore how an artist can build such spaces and what strategies one can use to trigger that tipping point. Through the lens of this ideology - "Crear, Quemar, Cambiar" - how can one CREATE the right circumstances to IGNITE the spirit of CHANGE in a community?
